This class is designed to prepare students for Calculus.  It necessarily includes a review of pre-calculus topics to make sure that students solidly understand the foundational skills they need to do well in calculus. Students entering pre-calculus are welcome - as they get an overview of what they will learn this year and what those skills will build to the next year.

In the Pre-Calculus portion, we'll go over limits, summations, graphing rational equations, and converting parametric equations.

Then, once students have mastered the basics, we will move towards preparing students for Calculus and AP Calculus. Topics include limits, definitions of derivatives, derivatives, and techniques of differentiation, applications of derivatives. PreCalc+CalcBoost!, like all of our math camps, will begin and end with a pre-test and post-test to measure skill gains across the week.
