Convert and Order: Decimals, Fractions, and Percents Puzzle

Common Core Grade Level:
Packet includes:
two long "jokes" that students solve by ordering decimals, fractions, and percents.

Students will order decimals, fractions, and percents (by converting so that they can compare them!). Each decimal, fraction, and percent is associated with a letter. Once the numbers and associated letters are ordered correctly, students will solve the jokes. Jokes involve simple word play, such as, "Why did the man name both of his sons Ed?" "Two Eds are better than one."

Notes

Note: Students should understand decimals, fractions, and percents, and know how to convert numbers between the different forms so that they are comparable. Students must also be able to read at grade level to solve and understand the jokes.
