Fractions to Decimals
This packet helps students practice converting fractions to decimals. Many of these fractions are common ones, that the students will probably eventually memorize, but the packet contains a wide range of fractions (with denominators up to 12) that students can convert by dividing the numerator by the denominator (e.g., 1/5 = 1 divided by 5 = .2).
Convert the fraction to a decimal:
Simple: $\dfrac{1}{2}$ = ____________
Advanced: $\dfrac{3}{8}$ = __________
Converting fractions to decimals requires understanding how to divide and use decimals in the answers (not just remainders).
