Fractions: Mixed Operations, No Mixed Numbers
This packet helps students practice how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. Students often have trouble remembering how to solve each type of problem when they are mixed up. This worksheet helps them to practice doing these different types of problems on one page. Each page has a random set of 12 problems. Each page also has a speed and accuracy guide, to help students see how fast and how accurately they should be doing these problems. After doing all 48 problems, students should be more comfortable doing these problems and have a clear understanding of how to solve them.
Solve. Simplify all answers completely. Change improper fractions to mixed numbers.
$\dfrac{50}{55} + \dfrac{4}{11} =$
$\dfrac{16}{45} -\dfrac{2}{15}$
$\dfrac{8}{30} \times \dfrac{16}{40}$
$\dfrac{7}{18} \div \dfrac{21}{27}$
Practice problems require knowledge of how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers and simplify fractions. The first page of each packet is available for viewing by clicking on the image on the right.
